This pretty thatched roof country pub– once the headquarters for 17th Century smugglers – sits on the clifftops above the rugged, unspoilt beach below. With glorious views of the Isle of Portland and the English Channel, and a large outdoor terrace and garden – enjoy hearty pub classics, and locally brewed Badger Beers. We will dine al-fresco if weather permits.

The coach will drop off those that have booked The Trumpet Major Tour in the lane leading to the pub before heading back to Dorchester and return to pick up those booked for The Trumpet Major evening performance. However, please note that the coach is unable to fully access the lane leading to The Smuggler's Inn so there will be an approx 10-minute walk before and after dinner to/from the drop-off point.
